Give a Class

For the person in your life who’d love to photograph with more intention, and finally take that “big” camera off the shelf. Give them six weeks to fall in love with it.

Photo Curious: Foundations is a six-week online class where they’ll learn to shoot in manual mode and make the photographs that excite them.

The next class for adults begins in mid-January, and I offer classes for teens too. This gift card covers the full class fee, even if they join a later session. When they’re ready, they can email me to save their seat.

I charge a small session fee and sell photographs separately in collections. When gifting a session, I always suggest that the giver covers both the session fee and at least the smallest collection. The recipient of the gift will make their selections from a full online gallery of 60 – 80 photographs.

Some gifts are best given together. Friends and family can each contribute any amount from $100, and the gift cards combine toward a session for expectant parents, new parents, or any family you love. A session with a starting collection is $1,250, and every gift brings them closer.

It’s a lovely addition to a baby registry, and a thoughtful way to grow a gift: toward a larger collection, an heirloom album, or prints for their walls.

Expecting? Add a link to this page to your baby registry, and friends and family can each give what feels right. You’ll be able to put every gift toward your session, and if gifts don’t cover it all, you can simply pay the difference when you book.
