A Boy, His Dog, and His Mommies

You first saw a glimpse of this family in my post introducing my series on Los Angeles LGBTQ family photography. I love the range of emotions that came out in this session and that they elicit in me when I look at these photographs. The ones of Amanda nursing her son are some of my favorites and make me regret not having any photographs of myself and my son from that time in our lives. And then that dog has me in total stitches with his desire to be in every photo and occasionally stick his tongue in the babies mouth. Hair pulling, lots of drool, coffee, kisses, of both the human and dog variety, and long snuggles – sounds about right for life with a little one, yes?
